OFFICE_BIO

SAGA is an architecture practice based in Lausanne and Basel, founded in 2024 by Tanguy Caversaccio and Loïc Cao. The studio develops innovative, respectful and playful strategies to address the environmental, social and aesthetic challenges of our time.

SAGA works across a wide range of media: architectural construction, writing, research and dialogue.

LOÏC CAO

Loïc Cao is an architect who graduated from ETH Zurich in 2021, following architectural studies at TU Munich and EPFL. His professional experience spans both internationally recognized offices such as Herzog & de Meuron as well as more regional practices focused on sustainability and renovation.

In 2023, he became a certified building energy expert. Alongside practice, he has been involved in architectural education, teaching at the Bauhaus University Weimar and at ETH Zurich with the practice PARABASE. He is currently teaching at ETH Zurich with the collective EVERY ISLAND.

TANGUY CAVERSACCIO

Tanguy Caversaccio is an architect, graduated from ETH Zurich in 2021, where his master's project was awarded the Heinrich Hatt-Bucher Prize.

Since 2021, he has been a teaching assistant at the Chair of Architectural Behaviorology under Prof. Momoyo Kaijima.

He is also co-founder of the ITAP2084 association, dedicated to questioning the role of bunkers today, between historical heritage and contemporary anxieties.

He co-founded SAGA Arch. Ltd in 2024.
